Madonna to Perform in the 2012 Super Bowl Halftime

The Super Bowl is the championship game of the NFL or the National Football League and it determines the culminating of another season of the football league. NFL is the highest level of professional American football in the United States and it begins in the late summer of the previous calendar year.

In the upcoming 2012 Super Bowl, Madonna, popularly known as the “Material Girl” will be taking the entire stage on football’s biggest night as she is reported to perform at halftime of the Super Bowl in Indianapolis. On Sunday, the NFL and NBC has announced that during the Detroit-New Orleans game, the two teams who are going to compete in the finals, that the Grammy Award-winning singer will be taking on the stage as she highlights the show that will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium on February 15, 2012.

We have known Madonna for being an award-winning singer who has sold about more than 300 million records. Madonna is a well-known American singer-songwriter, an actress and an entrepreneur at the same time. She released her debut album in 1983 after performing in the music groups Breakfast Club and Emmy. No one can ever say that he or she do not know Madonna because she is very popular worldwide. So when it was announced that she is going to perform on the Super Bowl, no one were actually surprised about the news because they were already expecting this. Madonna is such a talent that no one could resist and until now, despite the fact that she is already increasing in age, no one can still level in her energy while she performs.
